Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS: Secondary (High) School graduation certificate or equivalent; 1 year to less than 2 years' experience; good communication skills in English.

HOURS: Full-time; variety of shifts, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays

DUTIES:

Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods

Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances

Inspect kitchens and food service areas

Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling food

Order supplies and equipment

Supervise Kitchen staff and helpers

Maintain food inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment

Clean kitchen and work areas

CREDENTIALS:

Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate

Safe Food Handling Certificate

Food Safety Certificate
