Mainframe Developer

Experience: 8+ years

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and enhance Mainframe applications to support evolving business needs.

Modify existing COBOL programs to implement new business logic and develop new programs for data validation and processing.

Work extensively with DB2, including creating programs for data validation, retrieval, and integration with existing tables.

Create and manage VSAM files to store and process data as per project requirements.

Utilize CHANGEMAN for version control, ensuring proper configuration management and deployment practices.

Collaborate in an Agile environment, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and continuous delivery practices. Required Skills & Expertise:

Strong proficiency in COBOL, DB2, VSAM, and JCL .

Hands-on experience with CHANGEMAN or similar version control tools.

Solid understanding of Agile methodologies with proven ability to deliver in iterative cycles.

Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in distributed team environments
