Direct Counsel is representing an Amlaw 100 firm seeking a talented Business Litigation Associate to join its Baltimore office. The firm’s litigation group manages significant cases nationwide, including some of Maryland’s most high-profile matters. This is an excellent opportunity to gain courtroom experience and handle complex commercial disputes in a collaborative environment.Key Responsibilities:

Manage a range of complex commercial litigation matters, including depositions, discovery, motions, and trial preparation.

Oversee case management, including expert witness coordination and courtroom advocacy.

Advise clients on litigation strategy, risk assessment, and resolution options.

Support senior attorneys on high-value litigation, with opportunities for client interaction and independent case handling.

Contribute to firm-wide litigation efforts and mentor junior team members.Qualifications:

3–5 years of litigation experience, with knowledge of complex commercial disputes.

Bankruptcy litigation experience a plus.

Strong grasp of civil procedure and practical case management.

Experience taking/defending depositions and working with expert witnesses.

Prior clerkship experience preferred.

Admission to the Maryland Bar, or eligibility to waive in.

Excellent academic credentials, writing, and oral advocacy skills.Compensation & Benefits:

Base Salary Range (Baltimore Market): $220,000 – $325,000 annually.

Performance-based discretionary bonus potential.
