Job Title: Crate Builder

Job Description

We are seeking two dedicated individuals to join our Crate Building. In this role, you will be responsible for using hand and power tools to build signs or crates for the petroleum industry. This is a hands-on position that requires manual labor in a production setting on an assembly line.

Responsibilities

Utilize hand and power tools, including nail guns, screwdrivers, and drills.

Measure materials accurately using a tape measure.

Perform manual labor tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs. Lifting over 50 lbs requires a team lift.

Build signs or crates from start to finish for the petroleum industry.

Operate in a production setting and work collaboratively within a team.

Stand for extended periods and move around the facility as needed.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in using hand and power tools.

Experience with nail guns, tape measures, and drills.

Ability to perform manual labor and lift up to 50 lbs.

Minimum of 1 year of general production experience.

Capability to work collaboratively in a team setting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience operating a sit-down forklift.

Familiarity with operating various machinery such as CNC routers and press brakes.

Background in the sign industry.

Work Environment

Work in a standard manufacturing facility that is non-climate controlled. The environment can be loud, requiring earplugs for certain tasks. The regular schedule is from 7 AM to 3:30 PM with current overtime hours from 6 AM to 4:30 PM on weekdays and 6 AM to 2:30 PM on Saturdays.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Delaware, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
