Our client, a leader in the food industry, is seeking Furnace Operators to join their team. The ideal candidate will have strong physical skills, the ability to work in challenging environments, and excellent teamwork skills which will align successfully in the organization. This is a temp to hire opportunity with a great company!

Job Title: Furnace Operator

Location: Crossville, TN

Pay Range: $18.00/ hourShift: 3rd shift, 6:00pm to 6:30am

What's the Job?

Operating and controlling furnace equipment to regulate temperature and pressure

Monitoring and adjusting furnace settings to ensure optimal performance

Feeding raw materials into the furnace and removing finished products

Checking the quality of the melted material and finished products

Performing routine maintenance and inspections on furnace equipment

What's Needed?

Prior industrial experience. You may be a fit if worked in construction as well.

Ability to handle hot temperatures and work in a dirty environment

Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Strong adherence to safety procedures and guidelines

Effective communication and teamwork skills
