People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Counterbalance FLT Driver to join our client’s manufacturing site based near Broxburn.

This is a full-time, ongoing temporary position offering steady hours and the chance to work within a supportive and established team.

Shifts:

Monday - Thursday: 7:30am - 4:30pm & Friday 7:30am-4:00pm

Rates of Pay:

£13.00 per hour

Day to Day Duties:

Working as a Counterbalance FLT Driver, your responsibilities will include:

Operating a counterbalance forklift truck safely and efficiently

Moving pallets

Loading and unloading goods from vehicles

Storing goods in designated areas within the warehouse or production site

Supporting general warehouse duties when required

Following all site health & safety procedures

Essential Skills:

To be successful as a Counterbalance FLT Driver, you will need:

A valid Counterbalance FLT licence (RTITB or equivalent)

Experience using an FLT in a fast-paced environment

Good awareness of health and safety practices

Ability to work well as part of a team

Flexibility to work rotating shifts

Desirable Experience:

It would be an advantage if you have:

Previous experience working with large, loose products

Background in food or industrial manufacturing

Experience using FLTs with hooks or specialised attachments

Training:

Full training and paid site induction will be provided to the successful candidate
