The role…

… is based in Wennigsen, Germany.

In this role your assignment is to grow our sales business of industrial doors and docking in a sustainable and profitable way together with Area Sales Managers and colleagues in the organization. You will support the implementation of improvements like sales performance, acquisition of new customers or even extending the portfolio of our customers. With your knowledge, engagement and experience you will observe the ongoing market development and keep an eye on facts, figures and the daily business. You are responsible for leading ten direct reports including performance and development.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

Planning and implementation of sustainable and profitable growth in BSI Equipment Sales – Industrial Doors & Docking Solutions

Supporting the introduction of improvement measures focusing on sales performance, new customer acquisition, and expansion of existing customer base

Conducting market and potential analyses

Controlling and reporting of revenue and cost development, including derivation of appropriate measures

Ensuring the organization and execution of daily sales operations

Disciplinary leadership of directly assigned employees

Responsibility for the training and development of directly assigned employees

Ensuring compliance with local and corporate guidelines and regulations, quality management, and occupational safety measures

The ideal candidate will have:

Successfully completed studies in economics, (industrial) engineering, or a comparable qualification, or equivalent knowledge acquired through many years of professional experience

Extensive leadership experience in an industrial environment or related trades / technical building equipment, as well as with investment products and services

Long-standing experience in a large decentralized sales unit with maintenance and repair work on smaller machines and systems

Experience working in an international company / corporate group

Ability to succeed in a demanding yet collaborative international matrix environment

Experience in personnel development

Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken is mandatory

Experience using ERP systems and application software

Willingness to travel without restrictions

Strong strategic thinking and process competence

Communicative personality

Sales-oriented demeanor and adaptability to different conversation partners (m/f/d)

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
