As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the project delivery of IET GTS Upgrades for Gas and Energy transition applications and related profit & loss accountability. The Project Manager is also responsible for driving customer satisfaction, assuring the highest excellence in the execution jointly to the business targets.
As a Project Manager, you will:
Manage and coordinate Upgrades Projects, both in terms of parts delivery and related site installation and commissioning activities, both on call and turn key, to meet Contract obligation
Be accountable for the financial performances, including planning and reporting, of the assigned projects, in terms of costs, revenues, contribution margin and cash collection.
Manage the scope of work of the assigned contracts ensuring highest excellence in the execution, quality and on time delivery to meet Customer needs and satisfaction jointly to the business targets.
Manage cross-functional teams and driving both internal and external execution to meet contractual obligations and business targets.
Organize and lead project review meetings and all forms of communication with customers. Managing project deliverable and discussing/reviewing outcomes also with all internal stakeholders including the Project Management Leader
Identify and carefully evaluate risks and opportunities during the project lifecycle and working with multiple functions to mitigate them
Prioritize and promptly escalate critical issues according to business needs
Resolve with the customer any un-clarity in the contract agreement wording which may arise during the execution of the contract
Keep Customers updated about design changes and relevant commercial implications. Provide information about the latest advancements in upgrades opportunities to Customer. Looking for opportunities to expand the project profitability in ways that bring value to Customers.
Manage and negotiate change orders with Customers
Operate according to performance indicators, such as timeliness of project launch, quality of project report, project productivity, customer satisfaction and NPS (Net Promoter Score).
Interact compliantly with Baker Hughes tools, processes, and organization to fulfill all Contract obligations
Be involved in discussions with other functions and teams about improvement in processes, procedures and ways of working.
To be successful in this role you will:
Have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited College or University with Oil & Gas industry relevance
Have at least 3 years’ experience in project management
Experience in site execution, installation and commissioning
Demonstrate the ability to manage and execute multiple customer projects to successful completion
Show experience of project cost control and managing customer contractual requirements to successful completion
Demonstrate excellent communication skills and an ability to build trusting relationships with customers
Be able to work in a variety of difficult environments including customer offices and site locations
Demonstrate ability to operate in a globally spread matrix organization
Demonstrate technical writing skills and knowledge of MS Office
A plus would be
Previous Experience in rotating machinery equipment upgrades/retrofit
Experience on site supervision with direct practice on the field managing people and resources.
Be IPMA or PMP certified
Being Six Sigma Green Belt certified
