YOUR TASKS
Design, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes for maximum efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality.
Collaborate with design teams to identify, evaluate, and eliminate potential manufacturing risks.
Investigate and troubleshoot any issues related to the manufacturing process, performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
Create and maintain detailed documentation of manufacturing procedures, standards, and specifications.
Develop and implement process improvements and technological upgrades to enhance manufacturing productivity and product quality.
Interface with customers and suppliers, addressing any technical and quality-related issues.
Participate in new product introductions, assisting with design for manufacturability and process capability assessments.
Ensure all manufacturing safety regulatory policies and procedures are adhered to at all times.
Facilitate training for manufacturing staff on new processes, equipment, and procedures.
Maintain and improve current knowledge of manufacturing best practices, staying up-to-date with industry trends and developments.
Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives and cross-functional projects.
Use Lean Manufacturing tools such as Six Sigma methodologies to improve process effectiveness and decrease product defects.
Work in compliance with all relevant manufacturing and ethical standards, ensuring products meet all required domestic and international quality standards.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related field is required. A Master's degree is preferable.
A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering or related engineering field is preferred.
Experience in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies is highly desired.
Proficient in using CAD software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
Working knowledge of various types of manufacturing processes and industries.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to design and understand precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and effectively.
Knowledge of manufacturing safety best practices.
Experience in project management with proven leadership abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Experience with inspection techniques and statistical analysis.
Certification in ME or PE is a plus.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
