Translator
Job Overview: This Associate will be working and reporting in our production environment and will be pulled to translate as needed. This individual will be responsible for preparing new Associates for life on the production floor by providing hands on training on the production floor. This role will also serve as needed as a translator for daily communications between Associates and People Services representatives and/or supervisors (Group Leaders) (e.g., individual/team meetings, coaching, disciplinary action, safety intervention, medical, etc.). This individual will be responsible for listening to, understanding, and translating verbal or written statements between English and Spanish-Speaking Associates. Must have excellent verbal communication skills, and the ability to interact professionally and respectfully with people of diverse backgrounds.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday 6:30am - 3:00pm
Overtime available as needed by production area
Key Responsibilities:
Must have the ability to listen to, understand, and translate verbal or written statements between English and Spanish-Speaking Associates.
Maintain strict confidentiality when involved in interpretation of situations that require sensitivity or discretion.
When translation services are not needed by People Services this role will serve as a back up to Production.

Key Qualifications:
• The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move materials up 50 lbs.
• The ability to stand or walk an entire shift (can be approx... 8-10 hours)
• The ability to use tools such as measuring tools, screwdrivers, picks, grinders, computers, etc.
• Standing: Frequently

• Sitting: Occasionally
• Stooping (forward leaning): Occasionally
• Reaching/Working Overhead: Occasionally
Salary and Benefits:
• Starting rate $19.00 + based on experience.
