The Role

The Quality Technician is responsible for aiding in the establishment and adherence of Quality standards. This includes but not limited to; creating standards, inspection points, documentation, root cause problem solving, and corrective actions.

Points of responsibility include:

Development of Quality processes/documentation

Inbound receiving inspections in conjunction with Engineering as needed

Assembly inspections in conjunction with Engineering as needed

Inspections on identified weldments prior to shipment from Suppliers. This would also be supported by an engineering resource(s)

Shipping walkthroughs with PM's and Warehouse Team ensuring products are staged for shipment and final check completed

Redlines of current Engineering drawings and feedback to Engineering for updates

Collaborating with teams to implement corrective actions in the event of a defect

Development of record keeping related to Quality processes and findings

Root cause problem solving and Corrective Actions

Other duties as needed.

Skills/Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years in quality control

Ability to read manufacturing assembly drawings

Basic understanding of Quality Standards

Basic understanding of measurement and inspection techniques

Proven ability to root cause problem solve

Minimum of an Associate's Degree or proven equivalent work experience

Ability to inspect and measure

Ability to read engineering drawings

Data collection and analysis

Non-Conformance Identification and Reporting

Corrective Actions

Documentation and Auditing

Microsoft Suite - Word / Excel / Power Point

Experience in navigating ERP systems or aptitude to learn to do so

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Up to 20% travel
