Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your expertise in railway signalling and tender management in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and dynamic teammates.

You'll play a pivotal role in shaping the technical scope of tenders, ensuring the delivery of precise and competitive proposals aligned with standard solutions and business strategies. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as system architects, project engineering, installation, and testing teams), coordinate technical stakeholders, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of analyzing client specifications and aligning them with standard solutions, but also managing technical documentation and supporting client negotiations.

We’ll look to you for :

Providing engineering workload estimates to the tender manager.

Negotiating with engineering directors to allocate technical teams based on expertise and timelines.

Analyzing gaps between client specifications and standard solutions with the support of the system architect.

Defining the most appropriate compliance strategy in collaboration with the tender manager and technical leads.

Building the system architecture and coordinating internal and external stakeholders.

Preparing and leading technical design reviews and consolidating technical assumptions.

Directing the preparation of technical documentation for tenders.

Ensuring smooth handovers to project engineering teams after contract award.

Supporting project teams on complex change orders when needed.

Ensuring alignment with Alstom’s tender procedures and contributing to winning strategies.

A degree in engineering, computer science, or a related scientific field.

5+ years of experience in the railway signalling industry.

Proficiency in cost control and engineering planning.

Hands-on experience managing client relationships in contractual settings.

Knowledge of project engineering principles, including scope management, risk assessment, requirements management, and configuration control.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills (teamwork and leadership).

Analytical and critical thinking abilities.

Problem-solving skills and decision-making capabilities.
