Job Title: Jira/ Confluence Developer

Location: Warton-We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role

Salary: £47,683+ Depending of skills and experience

What you’ll be doing:

Design and develop workflows, including automation of manual processes

Manage the full Atlassian toolset (workflows, custom fields, schemes, add-ons, and integrations) for the IM&T Atlassian team

Act as Jira subject matter expert in governance discussions and best practice implementation

Build and maintain dashboards and reports for stakeholders

Create and update technical and user-facing documentation, including training materials

Provide data analysis, process improvement recommendations, and creative problem-solving in an agile environment

Balance user requests with business priorities while ensuring compliance with IM&T governance standards

Your skills and experiences:

Proven expertise in the Atlassian toolset (Jira, Confluence, and related applications)

STEM background (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) providing good evaluative and problem-solving skills

Stakeholder management experience, with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams

Extensive experience using the Atlassian suite to deliver workflows, automation, reporting, and integrations

Business analysis (BA) skills, including requirements gathering, process mapping, and solution design

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Atlassian Configuration team, where you’ll play a key role in shaping and optimising how we work. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally across the organisation?"partnering with teams in Finance, Export Control, and beyond?"giving you exceptional visibility and exposure across the business.

You’ll be joining a high-performing team of Architects, Project Managers, and Analysts who are passionate about driving best practice and continuous improvement. A key part of your role will be your ability to create clear documentation and engaging training materials, ensuring smooth adoption of changes and supporting effective change management.

Working closely with the Atlassian System Design Authority (SDA), you’ll have the opportunity to recommend best practices, implement innovative solutions, and deliver improvements that increase efficiency across the entire business lifecycle.
