CNC Milling Machinist

We are currently seeking a CNC Woodworking Operator to join our growing organization
The CNC operator produces machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a computer numerically controlled (CNC) router table. They maintain quality and safety standards, keep records, and ensure the maintenance of equipment and supplies.
Responsibilities
Operate and configure all CNC machines
Read and interpret technical drawings (CAD)
Prepare required tools, fixtures and supports
Use software to adjust, control and modify programs
Perform checks and report non-conformities to supervisor
Optimize the use of machine time
Prepare and verify the proper functioning of programs and work orders
Provide technical support to equipment operators
Participate in the resolution of problems related to the manufacturing of parts
Review and ensure that all equipment and tools are maintained according to procedures
Keep work area clean and free of non-essential items
Profile
Minimum of 3 years experience using a CNC machine; BIESSE is an asset
Minimum of 1 year experience working in a woodworking shop and using standard tools of the trade
Strong organizational skills
Proficiency in setting up fixtures, tooling, vices and clamps
Operates machines running complex, high tolerance components
Ability to work in a team environment and independently
Passionate about prototyping and machining
Strong work ethic and motivation
Attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of SolidWorks or AutoCad an asset
