Job responsibilities and all required and preferred skills and requirements
Perform inpatient and outpatient MRI imaging with focus on neuro, abdominal, and musculoskeletal cases.
Daily caseload: 35–40 patients; population includes adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
Conduct scans using Siemens MRI equipment; ensure accurate imaging for oncology, stroke workups, and trauma cases.
Procedures include abdomen/pelvis, chest, brain, face/neck, spine (cervical, thoracic, lumbar), and musculoskeletal (hip, knee, shoulder).
Perform special imaging procedures such as CINE, diffusion, gradient echo, perfusion, spectroscopy, MIP, MPR, T1/T2 imaging, and post-processing.
Responsibilities include patient prep, administration of contrast media, starting peripheral IVs, and use of PACS.
Must be willing to float within scope and cover weekends.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years MRI experience (travel experience required).
Certifications: ARRT (R), BLS.
Experience in teaching and Trauma Level I hospital preferred.
Knowledge of Siemens MRI systems required.
EPIC charting experience preferred.
Must be able to work weekends and 40-hour workweeks.
