Summary

We are seeking candidates that have experience in the age groups of 4 - 5 years old. We are specifically looking for an experience, energetic Preschool or Pre-k teacher that has a desire to build connections with families, aid a co-teacher with curriculum and help with classroom management . In this position, you will work alongside the your co-teacher implementing lesson plans, managing the classroom and following daily routines. We are looking for this Fall (late August) but wish to begin training as soon as possible!

Duties

Responsible (along with a co-teacher) for the overall supervision and daily class functions of a group of children in a classroom

Observes all rules and regulations of Whitehall Kids Academy and the local, state or national regulatory agencies pertaining to the health, safety and care of children.

Implements the approved lesson plans and daily classroom schedule.

Manages Classrooms through organization and behavior management techniques.

Maintains a positive relationship with parents

Gets children engaged in classroom activities by employing a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, media etc.)

Maintains an attractive, well-kept classroom that encourages children to create, explore and make decisions with confidence.

Requirements

In School for CDA or have already obtained it.
