Job Description General Superintendent - 5 Star Hotel Construction General Superintendent - 5 Star Hotel Construction RELOCATION REQUIREDPosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced General Superintendent to oversee the construction of a luxury 5-star hotel in the beautiful Bahamas.

This role is crucial in ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in hotel construction and a proven track record of managing large-scale projects.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage all aspects of the construction project, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.Coordinate and supervise the work of subcontractors and field staff to ensure quality workmanship and compliance with safety regulations.Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and implement corrective actions as needed.Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve any construction-related issues that arise.Prepare and present regular updates on project status to senior management and stakeholders.Ensure that all construction activities are in line with the design specifications and established standards.Manage procurement of materials and equipment to ensure timely delivery and availability on-site.

QualificationsProven experience as a General Superintendent or similar role in hotel construction.Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety protocols, and building codes.Excellent leadership and project management skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.Experience in luxury hotel construction projects, particularly in resort locations.Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including contractors, architects, and senior management.Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
