Join our dynamic team in Singapore as a Senior Project Manager, Professional Services, and take the lead in shaping high-value initiatives from concept to completion.
About the Role
As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams to deliver strategic projects on time, within scope, and on budget within our Asia-Pacific and Japan (APJ) region. You’ll bring deep expertise in project governance, lifecycle execution, and risk management, while fostering collaboration and operational excellence across the organization. This individual will need to be bilingual in English and Japanese to best support our clients.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage detailed project schedules, integrating cross-functional dependencies, financial planning, and resource allocation.
Guide projects through all lifecycle stages, ensuring compliance with governance requirements and stakeholder approvals.
Apply PMI/CCPM best practices across scope, time, quality, risk, communication, and procurement management.
Lead project communications, proactively identifying risks and providing regular updates via dashboards and reports.
Define and track success metrics, making data-driven decisions to optimize outcomes.
Motivate and energize teams, promoting a culture of collaboration and high performance.
Identify and mitigate risks, developing contingency plans to ensure seamless execution.
Govern project scope, prioritize stakeholder needs, and manage change effectively.
Oversee project budgets, including estimation, tracking, and financial reporting.
Build strong stakeholder relationships and ensure alignment with business goals.
Drive continuous improvement through process re-engineering and resource optimization.
Implement change management strategies to support organizational transitions.
Contribute to the project management community by sharing best practices and insights.
Develop and implement training programs to enhance project management capabilities.
What We’re Looking For
5–10 years of hands-on project management experience, ideally in professional services or high-tech environments.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management, or related field; MBA is a plus.
PMP or equivalent certifications (e.g., PMI-PMP, CCPM, ITIL, CSM, Prince2) required.
Fluent in Japanese and English.
Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex stakeholder relationships.
Strong expertise in project governance, risk management, and financial planning.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
A continuous improvement mindset with a track record of driving operational excellence.
Base salary range: 151,000-200,000 AUD depending on experience
