Your Role: People Operations Apprentice

We’re looking for a People Operations Apprentice to join our People & Culture (P&C) team. Reporting to the Head of People Operations and Data, you’ll support HR processes, systems, payroll and benefits, while studying for your HR Support Level 3 CIPD Apprenticeship.
Key Responsibilities as People Operations Apprentice at Global:
P&C processes (50%): Process a range of HR operational tasks from transactional to query resolution, from onboarding through to off-boarding including payroll and benefits; use HR systems to keep and update records
Support and Guidance (25%): Take ownership for providing advice to managers on a wide range of HR issues using company policy and current law; day to day queries on a range of topics and provide HR advice to P&C colleagues, managers and employees; provide relevant HR information to the business.
Administrative support (15%): Support the team across a range of administrative tasks to underpin record keeping and the operation of P&C ops, employee benefits and payroll.
Project support (10%): Support in the delivery of key P&C projects, contributing to specific components of larger strategic projects.

What Success Looks Like
In your first few months, you’ll have:
Integrated into the team, built rapport with colleagues, understood who does what and contributed confidently to discussions
Built knowledge of compliance standards and developed confidence in applying them across P&C activities
Learnt to prioritise your workload to manage deadlines and service delivery objectives
Mastered P&C transactions in Workday and become an expert on our Job Families and Position Management principals
Been able to work independently to manage a range of day to day queries
