Job Description Estimator - Commercial Construction Estimator - Commercial ConstructionPosition OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our commercial construction team.
The Estimator will be responsible for accurately assessing project costs, preparing bids, and ensuring that projects are completed within budget.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction estimation and a thorough understanding of construction processes and bidding practices.Key ResponsibilitiesReview project plans and specifications to understand project requirementsPrepare detailed cost estimates for commercial construction projectsConduct take-offs using On Screen Take Off softwareCollaborate with project managers and subcontractors to gather relevant informationDevelop and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors for accurate pricingCreate and submit competitive bids for projectsAnalyze and assess risks associated with bids and project executionMonitor project budgets and costs throughout the construction process QualificationsProven experience as an Estimator in the commercial construction industryStrong knowledge of construction processes and materialsProficiency in estimating software, particularly On Screen Take OffExcellent analytical and mathematical skillsStrong attention to detail and organizational abilitiesEffective communication and negotiation skillsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred Benefits - Competitive base + bonus- Full Medical, life insurance etc.- 401K with company match- PTO + Vacation + Sick time - For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
