Job NUMBER: 5359 CRNA needed in Northern Maine About the POSITIONNeed a CRNA5 Operating Rooms210 cases per month, including 20 births per monthSurgical suites have state-of-the-art anesthesia equipmentCRNA's are encouraged to practice as active independent members of the Anesthesia Team.7am - 3pm with minimal traumaCall responsibility if 1:5, and the average call back is reasonable and manageableWill work with 3 F/T CRNA's and 2 F/T Anesthesiologists on staff.They use a Medical Supervision model which allows great flexibility and autonomy for the CRNA'sHead/heart cases are not performedSkill requirements include General, Spinal, Obstetrical, Pediatric and Thoracic Anesthesia except open heart; Bier Block, Ventilation Management in the OR, (establishing and maintaining an airway; various modes of ventilation); and arterial line.Preferred skills would include epidural and peripheral nerve block expertise.
