320, ANSI C84.1, IEEE 1547, etc.)Valid driver’s license (Maine preferred)Ability to pass a seven-year background check in compliance with NERC standards Power Systems Quality Engineer – Must Haves:Investigate, analyze, and troubleshoot power quality issues, including voltage fluctuations, harmonics, and transientsConduct post-fault and root cause analysis of T&D system eventsPerform field testing and data analysis to ensure compliance with regulatory standardsSupport integration of Distributed Energy Resources (DER) by analyzing interconnections and recommending best practicesCollaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Asset Management to develop power quality strategies and capital projectsProvide subject matter expertise to internal teams on system reliability and modernization initiatives Power Systems Quality Engineer – Preferred Background & Skills:Professional Engineer (PE) license or eligibility for licensureExperience with grid modernization and advanced metering infrastructure (AMI)Familiarity with capital planning, budgeting, and project forecastingStrong proficiency in Excel and other PC-based engineering toolsProven ability to manage multiple projects with competing prioritiesExcellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
