Production Operative

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Production Operative to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating machinery and equipment in a production environment, ensuring that products are manufactured to the highest quality standards.

This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work effectively within a team.

Duties Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment to ensure smooth operation.

Perform assembly tasks as required, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the production process.

Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various production tasks.

Conduct routine inspections of machinery and equipment to identify any maintenance needs or issues.

Maintain a clean and organised work area in compliance with health and safety regulations.

Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.

Assist in the training of new staff on machinery operation and safety protocols.

Skills Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to production tasks.

Experience in assembly processes within a manufacturing or warehouse environment is advantageous.

Excellent attention to detail, ensuring high-quality output in all tasks performed.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated when required.

Good communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate teamwork and reporting.
