We have a new opportunity available for a Regional Head of Health and Safety for NSW and QLD.
Managing a small team of Health and Safety Managers, this role will be based at our B9 Botany Paper Mill site and will drive and improve the Health and Safety performance and culture of the business area through:
The prevention of injury and the potential for harm to our employees, contractors, visitors and the public
The provision of visible, competent leadership and health & safety expertise
Developing and implementing strategic health & safety programs tailored to local needs
Coaching and supporting business unit leadership
Ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory requirements

Specifically for this role, we expect you will have;
Tertiary qualification in OH&S preferred
Strong regulatory knowledge specific to manufacturing environments
In depth knowledge of health & safety management systems
Proven record of success within a manufacturing or industrial environment
Proven experience in leading and managing a team of health & safety specialists
Proven ability in developing and driving strategy and vision within an organisation that appreciates and values individual contribution
Proven, positive experience in dealing with and managing regulators
Proven experience in successfully driving a culture of continuous improvement
Strong interpersonal relationship skills
