The Opportunity

We are seeking a strategic leader to head our Professional Services team to shape the future of technical consulting at Landmark Legal, driving group-wide consulting for project delivery, bids, and key client engagements. You’ll lead environmental risk management and sustainability services, develop our consulting capability, and build strong business partnerships.

What you’ll do:

Lead and develop a high-performing consulting team

Drive technical excellence in environmental and sustainability risk

Build and enhance strategic partnerships

Own and evolve risk models and technical outputs

Support business development and deliver on our sustainability roadmap

About You

As the Head of Professional Services, you will be an inspiring leader with a passion for technical excellence and sustainability. You bring:

A strong background in environmental risk management (contaminated land, flood risk, mining) and sustainability (climate change risk, ESG, BNG).

Proven experience in a senior consultancy technical role, ideally with an MSc or equivalent.

Exceptional communication skills, able to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

A track record of planning and delivering high-quality client engagements, on time and within budget.

Highly skilled at people management and development, and a collaborative approach to working with internal and external stakeholders.

An inquisitive nature, attention to detail, and a drive for innovation and continuous improvement.
