Key Skills The ideal candidate will be flexible and energetic and willing to take a proactive approach to the welding & fabrication requirements in a busy factory environment.
Must have a minimum of 1 years Tig welding.
Require previous experience of welding alumínium Wage up to £31K plus per annum (dependant on experience) Key Responsibilities: Operate all equipment correctly and safely, following all working procedures.
Tig Welding Aluminium, thickness ranging from 1mm up to 3mm Mig or Tig Welding Steel (not stainless), thickness ranging from 1mm up to 3mm General fabrication including cutting, drilling, sawing & general metal work Report any defects in manufactured goods, consumables or tools so they can be rectified promptly.
Ensure all work stations and areas are kept clean and free from items which may cause health and safety risks to individuals and work colleagues.
Accurate reading of drawings Restocking of work area Supporting other teams in Production and Dispatch if required Essential skills and experience: A minimum of 1 years Tig welding.
Must have a competency in TIG/MIG welding and sheet metal work Fabrication Experience Ability to communicate with others.
Ability to accurately read machine drawings.
Excellent attention to detail.
Able to work to deadlines.
Experience using hand tools would be advantageous.
Pro-active approach to work.
