Pay Range: $13hr - $18hr
Document Management Assistant Responsibilities:
Assists in classifying, identifying, and routing records.
Prepares and scans documents.
Prepares documents for offsite storage and retention.
Transmits facsimiles.
Performs other duties as assigned
Supports the organization's quality programs. Requirements:
A significant portion of the day is spent reviewing and categorizing documents, determining their type, and indexing them to the correct member s account.
Experience in reviewing medical claims and medical records would be highly preferred. They should be able to identify a claim form and/or distinguish between medical documentation and a claim document. Document Management Assistant Qualifications:
A High School diploma or GED is required.
Six (6) months of clerical experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
Mailroom and document management medical claims and medical records experience a plus.
Good oral and written communication skills.
PC literate, including Microsoft Office products.
Strong organizational skills.
Good interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies.
