Accounting Specialist

Are you detail-oriented and ready to grow your accounting career? Staffmark is hiring an Accounting Specialist to join a fast-paced, collaborative finance team. In this role, you'll support internal teams and vendors to ensure accurate, timely financial operations-perfect for someone who enjoys numbers and thrives in a dynamic environment.

Salary: $44,000 - $45,000/year

Responsibilities:

Process vendor payments (ACH, checks, wires, credit cards).

Handle high-volume invoice entry and route for approval.

Prepare monthly expense reports with proper documentatio n.

Communicate with vendors to resolve issues and reconcile accounts.

Track intercompany receivables and payables.

Support month-end close and cross-functional projects.

Maintain accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to company values.

Qualifications:

Associate degree in Accounting or related field.

3+ years of accounts payable experience.

Strong knowledge of general ledger and accounting practices.

Advanced Excel skills; proficiency in MS Office.

Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable.

Strong communication skills and ability to meet deadlines under pressure.

High integrity in handling confidential financial data.
