People Solutions are currently recruiting for an FLT Reach Truck Driver to join our well-established client based in Pendlebury, Greater Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay and room to grow and progress.

Temporary to Permanent position available for the right candidate.

Shifts: Monday - Friday: 7.00AM - 4.00PM

Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour

Day to Day Duties

As an FLT, your duties will involve but not limited to:

Driving/Operating a Reach Truck + Picking and packing duties

Loading & Unloading trucks and containers using equipment provided in a safe and efficient manner.

Moving and transporting stock into correct areas of the warehouse.

Loading & loading vehicles and pallets.

Receiving and unpacking incoming goods and taking inventories as required.

Organising, wrapping, and securing stock ready for delivery.

Stacking and stowing pallets away.

Always adhering to health and safety regulations and promoting a safe working environment.

Checking the quality of incoming and outgoing goods.

Clearing work area of any debris and keeping traffic routes clear of obstructions.

Reporting faulty equipment, damage to racks and or other safety hazards to the supervisor.

Essential Skills

The following skills are essential as an FLT:

Valid Reach Truck License

Good Knowledge and understanding of Health & Safety.

Punctuality and good time keeping skills.

Strong Teamwork skills.

Must be able to read and speak a certain level of English.

Ability to work under pressure and in a challenging environment.

Ability to pay close attention to details and adhere to deadlines.

Desirable Experience

Experience working within a warehouse environment would be beneficial.

What training is provided?

Full training will be provided for this role, you will need to undergo an assessment.
