Marine HSEQ Superintendent

We are assisting our client, a high end offshore vessel management company, in the recruitment of a Marine HSEQ Superintendent at their Aberdeen office. The role is offered on permanent (staff) basis

ROLE

Reporting to HSEQ Manager, the Marine HSEQ Superintendent role will cooperate and interact with vessels, class, authorities, clients and industry marine assurance entities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Support the company s HSEQ activities as directed by the HSEQ Manager

Support the company’s Marine activities as directed by HSEQ Manager and Chief Operating Officer

Manage and follow up forms and events

Responsible for obtaining and presenting analytical content to the company as directed by the HSEQ Manager and COO

Participate in the Emergency Organization as described in the SMS

Adhere to and provide feedback on the company s policies, objectives, plans and procedures.

Adhere to requirements, both internal and external, of which the company s performance is of relevance.

The company s deputy dynamic positioning authority

The company’s navigation standard authority.

REQUIREMENTS

3-5 years of studies at college / university

Minimum 10 years of total working experience

Fluent in English, both orally and in writing

Relevant experience from shipping, oil and gas or HSEQ department is preferrable

Deck officer experience from OSV-vessels is preferrable

Master Mariner s license is preferrable

DP certificate (NI and/or DNV) preferrable

Experience as officer onboard
