Responsibilities of a Cover Supervisor:

Supervise classes in the absence of the teacher, following pre-prepared lesson plans

Ensure pupils remain on task and complete their assignments

Manage classroom behaviour effectively, creating a positive environment for learning

Provide feedback to teaching staff on lesson outcomes and student progress

Requirements for Cover Supervisor:

Previous experience working with young people in a formal education setting (Secondary school experience preferred)

Strong classroom management and communication skills

Adaptability to work across different schools and subjects

Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
