Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Business Data Analyst to support our Finance and Human Resources functions with actionable, data-driven insights. This role is critical in enabling Finance and HR leaders to make informed decisions, optimize processes, and foster a culture of data-driven excellence across the organization.
As a member of the Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, and Data Science team, the Business Data Analyst will partner closely with Finance, HR, and Commercial stakeholders to design and deliver comprehensive reporting solutions, advanced analytics, and strategic business insights. The role spans the full accounting and HR cycle, including workforce planning, employee engagement, financial forecasting, and performance measurement.
Additionally, this position will ensure that financial measures are accurate, consistent, and aligned with enterprise-wide calculations, while safeguarding the integrity of transactional data required for invoicing and reconciliation activities. Through these efforts, the Business Data Analyst will help drive operational efficiency, financial accuracy, and organizational alignment.Requirements:
Key Responsibilities:
Internal Analytics & Reporting
Design and implement real-time, self-service data and reporting solutions for Finance and Human Resources.
Build and maintain dashboards to track operational KPIs, MSA/SLA performance, and other key financial and HR measures.
Develop and implement metrics to measure performance, efficiency, service-level management, and employee/customer experience.
Partner with Finance and HR teams to define and track success metrics, monitor initiatives, and assess real-time performance.
Collaborate with Product Engineering and Business Intelligence teams to align analytics with enterprise initiatives.
Integrate third-party tools and data sources to enhance reporting and analytics capabilities.
Training & Enablement
Lead training sessions for business users on self-service analytics, dashboards, and reporting tools.
Build and maintain data dictionaries, metric definitions, and Finance/HR business rules.
Create documentation and user guides to promote consistent adoption of analytics tools.
Mentor cross-functional teams in data analysis best practices, fostering a culture of data literacy.
Maintain a knowledge base of company metrics, measures, and performance KPIs.
Process Optimization:
Lead and participate in change management and process improvement for analytics and reporting pipelines.
Identify opportunities within Finance and HR to drive process efficiency and data-driven decision-making.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex business problems, provide insights for planning and growth, and uncover opportunities for operational improvement.
Partner with stakeholders to ensure data accuracy, reliability, and compliance.
Develop and maintain monitoring processes to uphold business and data quality
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in Finance or HR data analytics.
Proven track record of implementing self-service analytics solutions.
Strong project management and financial analysis skills.
Knowledge of pharmacy financial models and integration with digital pharmacy solutions.
Deep understanding of the healthcare industry and related financial/HR systems.
Technical Skills:
Advanced analytics and reporting expertise.
Proficiency in SQL and Python.
Experience with BI tools (Looker, Domo, Metabase, Tableau).
Strong knowledge of data modeling, architecture, and integration.
Experience with accounting and HR applications (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, Acumatica, Paylocity, BambooHR).
Ability to manage roadmaps, with experience in iterative and agile methodologies.
Familiarity with AI, prompt engineering, streaming, batch processing, and webhooks.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Health Analytics or Finance
Relevant certifications in analytics, data visualization, or financial systems a plus.?
