Lead the development and execution of group-wide financial strategy, ensuring alignment with long-term business objectives
Oversee consolidated reporting, forecasting and budgeting, providing accurate insight for executive decision-making
Drive effective cash management, capital structuring, and investment decisions to optimise financial health and shareholder value
Manage financial risk, governance frameworks and compliance across all business units
Provide oversight of tax, audit, treasury and insurance functions, ensuring regulatory and stakeholder requirements are met
Mentor and lead a high-performing finance team, building succession pipelines and enhancing organisational capability
Partner with executive leadership to evaluate commercial opportunities, drive growth, and strengthen investor relations
Ensure IT and financial systems are robust, modern, and enable efficient, real-time financial and operational reporting
Skills & Experience:
CA(SA) OR CIMA qualified
At least 15 years of progressive finance leadership experience
Renewable energy, Mining, Construction, Manufacturing or equivalent industry experience
Significant exposure at executive or board level within complex, JSE listed organisations
Strong track record in strategic financial planning, capital management, and leading large finance teams
Deep knowledge of IFRS, corporate governance, and risk management best practices
Proven ability to influence at senior levels, with excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Demonstrated success in leading transformation and driving organisational performance
Qualification:
CA(SA) OR Fully Qualified ACMA, CGMA with CIMA
