Field Service Technician, Paint Booths and Welding Equipment

Independent, customer-facing role maintaining and repairing industrial paint booths and welding equipment at body shops and dealerships. Company vehicle and core tools provided. Flexible schedule options with most weeks near 40 hours.

Local and regional in OH, IN, KY; occasional overnights
Compensation
$35 to $45 per hour

What you will do
Perform preventive maintenance, multi-point inspections, and general service
Diagnose and repair electrical controls and power, including relays, circuits, PLCs, and schematics
Work with 110V, 240V, and three-phase power
Service blowers, fans, motors, airflow, and heating elements
Verify gas pressure and supply; maintain compressed air and drain lines
Remove faulty parts and install replacements
Document work performed and communicate next steps with customers
What you bring
Hands-on service or maintenance experience with electromechanical systems
Ability to read schematics and use a multimeter in the field
Experience with paint booth or welding equipment is a strong plus
Strong troubleshooting, time management, and communication skills
Requirements
Valid driver’s license and insurable MVR
Able to pass background and drug screening
Comfortable lifting 50 to 60 lbs, climbing ladders or man-lifts, and working in tight spaces
Schedule and travel
Monday to Friday, typical service window 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Flexible 4- or 5-day workweek options
Regional day travel with occasional overnights as needed
Tools and support
Company vehicle for field work
Core tools provided in the van; you may use some of your own as preferred
About Collision Correction Equipment
Local supplier, installer, and service partner for industrial equipment used in auto body and aftermarket automotive work. Primary equipment focus is paint booths and welding systems for body shops, car dealerships, and similar businesses.
