JOB SUMMARY:

As a Delivery Driver, you will safely and efficiently transport products from the warehouse to various customer locations, ensuring accurate delivery and unloading of products according to company standards.

Unload products from the trailer, using hand carts where necessary, in all weather conditions.

Maintain accurate paperwork per company and government standards, including DOT logs and vehicle maintenance reports.

Adhere to food safety protocols and maintain sanitary conditions in delivery vehicles and at delivery sites.

Establish strong customer relationships through excellent and courteous service.

Perform other duties as assigned by management.

REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma/GED/equivalent, plus one year of tractor trailer driving experience; completion of a tractor trailer driving school can substitute for educational requirements.

One year of verifiable tractor trailer driving experience is required; food and/or beverage delivery experience is a plus.

CERTIFICATIONS AND/OR TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:

A valid Class A Commercial Driver's License is required, along with the ability to be insured for vehicle operation.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

Knowledge of: DOT regulations, Hazmat guidelines, and safe lifting practices.

Skill in: Driving long distances, effective communication with customers, and problem-solving.

Ability to: Operate a tractor-trailer unit in various traffic and weather conditions, handle hazardous materials, and perform basic math operations; effectively plan and organize work independently.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Regularly sitting, lifting, and moving products weighing up to 50 pounds by hand, and pushing/pulling up to 350 pounds using hand carts is required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Exposed to wet, hot, cold, and humid conditions; may work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed. The noise level is usually moderate.
