Job Summary

As a CDL A Truck Driver, you will safely and efficiently transport products from the warehouse to various customers, ensuring timely and accurate delivery according to company standards.

Responsibilities:

Safely unloads product from the trailer to designated customer storage areas, following company and customer specifications.

Accurately completes all required paperwork as per company and governmental guidelines.

Ensures compliance with food safety protocols and maintains a sanitary condition in your delivery vehicle.

Builds rapport with customers through courteous and professional service.

Completes other duties as assigned by management.

Required Minimum Education/Experience:

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent, plus 1 year of tractor-trailer driving experience. Completion of a driving school can substitute for a high school diploma.

1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience required; experience with food and/or beverage delivery is a plus.

Certifications and/or Technical Requirements:

A valid Class A Commercial Driver's License is required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Familiarity with DOT regulations and safe delivery practices.

Ability to drive in varying weather conditions and terrains.

Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers.

Physical Demands:

This job requires frequent lifting, pushing, or moving products weighing up to 50 pounds, as well as using hand carts to transport up to 350 pounds.

Work Environment:

The work environment may include exposure to wet, hot, or extreme cold conditions, and the associate may need to work in confined spaces as demanded by the job.
