Position Summary:

JGMS Government Services is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our team as part of the Propulsion Plant Team Trainer (PPTT) project, which is a multi-site organization engaged in the design, production, testing, and delivery of advanced training simulators.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform electrical drafting

Collaborate with other engineers to create or modify designs and drawings

Review supplier electrical designs for adherence to technical requirements

Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and at least 3 years of relevant experience.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office® Products.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Desired Qualifications:

Proficiency in performing electrical engineering drafting

Knowledge of drafting standards and techniques

Experience in creating or reviewing electrical engineering designs based on approved requirements

Proficiency using SolidWorks, SolidWorks Electrical, and/or AutoCAD

Proficiency with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC)

Proficiency with low voltage electrical distribution, audiovisual, or telecommunications

Other

Security Clearance:

A current active DOE/DoD Security Clearance - Secret, Top Secret, L or Q is required.

Background Check and Screenings
