Summary

The Leasing Manager leads the leasing operations of the property, ensuring occupancy goals are met through performance-driven leadership, strategic goal setting, and effective team coaching. This role is responsible for leasing execution, CRM oversight, lead management, and the daily productivity of the leasing team.

Key Responsibilities

Leasing Strategy & Execution

Set daily, weekly, and monthly leasing goals for the team and track progress toward occupancy targets

Oversee all leasing activity, ensuring consistent follow-up, accurate documentation, and adherence to sales best practices

Maintain expert knowledge of floor plans, pricing, availability, leasing specials, and competitor offerings

Conduct leasing tours and support peak leasing periods with hands-on prospect engagement

Team Leadership & Development

Train, manage, and motivate leasing consultants and student brand ambassadors

Lead daily leasing huddles and provide ongoing coaching based on performance metrics

Ensure CRM tools (Entrata) are consistently updated, including hot lead tracking and lease progression

Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to ensure leasing and marketing strategies are aligned Lead

Management & Reporting

Monitor and optimize lead flow from digital, traditional, and outreach sources

Compile and analyze weekly leasing reports, identifying trends and areas for improvement

Coordinate with the General Manager to implement strategies for conversion improvement and goal achievement

Ensure accurate completion of leasing paperwork, file audits, and leasing compliance standards

Customer Service & Resident Relations

Assist with resident retention efforts including renewal campaigns and resident communication

Support resident events and community programming in collaboration with marketing and resident services teams

Address and resolve prospective resident concerns or objections during the leasing process
