Lead Industrial Maintenance Tech

Job Description

Pay: $31.00 - $50.00 per hour

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Team Lead to join our team in Columbus, Ohio. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can troubleshoot and repair a variety of plant equipment while guiding a team of technicians.

What You'll Do:

Lead and Mentor: Manage daily work orders, coach technicians, and delegate tasks to ensure efficient operations.

Troubleshoot and Repair: Perform repairs and installations on all plant equipment, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Preventative Maintenance: Oversee and perform preventative maintenance and general upkeep to keep the plant running smoothly.

Ensure Safety: Apply your knowledge of NFPA 70E, NFPA 70, and OSHA standards to maintain a safe work environment.

Qualifications:

Experience: At least five years of experience in industrial maintenance.

Technical Skills: Working knowledge of Industrial Automation Controls Systems (IACS), large manufacturing equipment, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

Computer Proficiency: Skilled in using Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.

Leadership Skills: Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork abilities.

Work Environment:

This is a full-time, second-shift position from 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM. The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in an environment with exposure to heat, cold, loud noise, and moving mechanical parts. Steel-toed shoes and a successful drug screening are required.
