The Role

Sofina Foods is seeking reliable and detail-oriented General Operatives to join our bacon production team. Reporting to the Production Manager and Production Supervisor, you’ll help ensure the safe, efficient, and high-standard processing and packing of our bacon products.

Summary

Play a Key Role in Delivering High-Quality Bacon Products to Our Customers

Your Key Responsibilities

As a General Operative, you will:

Handle raw sliced bacon and accurately identify different cuts such as prime and neck end

Load raw bacon into Multivac machines quickly and precisely

Pack finished products neatly and correctly into cartons, boxes, or baskets as per customer specifications

Inspect products for issues such as faulty labels, poor positioning, damaged packaging, grease in seals, and blown

packs

Take responsibility for housekeeping in your area, following the clean-as-you-go policy

Build strong working relationships with colleagues across production areas

The Ideal Candidate

Familiar with retailer product quality standards (preferred but not essential)

Detail-focused with a keen eye for accuracy

Able to follow food safety and hygiene practices (Basic Food Hygiene qualification is a plus)

A good team player with a proactive and positive approach
