What You'll be Doing

Executing thorough patient evaluations, recommending diagnostic tests, and creating personalized care strategies

Diagnosing and addressing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions in coordination with physicians or independently as permitted by your qualifications

Instructing patients and their families on prevention techniques, wellness strategies, and disease management

Prescribing medications and treatments in accordance with your skill set

Engaging in patient follow-up and ongoing chronic care management

Collaborating within interdisciplinary teams to render integrated, comprehensive care

Maintaining thorough and precise documentation within electronic medical records (EMR) Education Requirements

Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)

Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program Required Certifications

Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Ohio

National board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
