Clinical Liaison Nurse (RN)

Location: UCHealth Memorial Hospital Central, Colorado Springs, CO

Department: MHC Palliative Care

FTE: Part Time, 0.5, 0.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift: Days

Pay: $38.91 - $60.31/hour, commensurate with relevant experience

Summary: Join our dedicated team as a Clinical Liaison Nurse, where you will play a vital role in providing critical care and resources to enhance patient outcomes through collaboration and innovative care coordination.

Responsibilities:

Conduct regular rounds across nursing and ancillary units to serve as a clinical resource and provide expert consultation.

Coordinate care across departments to meet goals for patient outcomes and system improvements.

Educate and support staff on effective patient care methods to ensure adherence to safety standards.

Collaborate with healthcare teams to analyze outcomes, identify service improvements, and implement solutions.

Respond to Medical Emergency Response (MET) calls, providing immediate clinical assistance and coordination of care.

Administer medications and monitor their effects, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.

Utilize critical thinking and independent judgment in a fast-paced environment to promote optimal care.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program

Preferred: MSN or Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification

Valid state licensure as a Registered Nurse

Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications

Minimum of 2 years of critical care experience
