Senior Care Assistant Location: Scunthorpe Salary: £14.45 per hour + incentives Hours: Full-time, 7am–7pm, 3–4 shifts per week (including alternate weekends)A respected care provider is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to join its dedicated team in a homely, purpose-built care home near Scunthorpe.

Promote independence, dignity, choice, and wellbeing at all times.
Lead shifts, ensuring high standards of care and supporting the wider team.
Complete daily medication rounds and maintain accurate records.
Ensure care documentation and daily charts are completed to a high standard.
Promote good practice and challenge poor practice within the team.
Conduct regular one-to-ones for care staff and support the investigation of complaints or concerns as directed by the Home Manager.Essential Requirements: NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent qualification). Minimum of two years’ experience as a Care Assistant in a residential or nursing home.
Knowledge of person-centred care planning.
Live within 30 minutes of the home.Preferred Requirements: At least one year’s experience in a Senior Care Assistant role.
NVQ Level 4 in Adult Health and Social Care (or above). Experience conducting person-centred one-to-ones.Benefits: Competitive salary (£14.45ph + incentives). Annual performance-related pay increases (up to 8% + cost-of-living rise). 28 days’ holiday including Bank Holidays.
