**Job Title: Utility Packer**

**Job Description**

We are seeking dedicated individuals for the role of Utility Packer. This position entails working on a packaging line, sorting, bagging, boxing, and packaging frozen vegetables. It is a contract-to-hire position with an initial duration of three months.

**Responsibilities**

+ Dump, pack, and stack frozen products.

+ Pack products into specifically labeled cases.

+ Inspect products to remove blemishes and any foreign material.

+ Sanitize all packing lines and follow all GMP, safety, operation, and sanitation programs.

+ Engage in general housekeeping practices.

+ Stack products onto specific pallet types.

+ Operate the facility dump station.

+ Work in a cold and wet environment.

+ Lift up to 50 lbs when necessary.

**Essential Skills**

+ General labor experience.

+ Production work experience.

+ Proficiency in packing and sorting.

+ Ability to make necessary quality checks on each item.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ 2-3 months of packing or production experience is preferred.

**Work Environment**

The production facility is a cold and wet environment, with temperatures ranging from 35 to 40 degrees in the production area and 0 degrees in the freezer. Production workers will rarely need to enter the freezer. Shift times are as follows: 1st shift runs from early morning to 3:00 pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays; 2nd shift runs from 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays; and 3rd shift runs from 11:00 pm to early morning, Sunday to Thursday.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
