Scope and Purpose
Manage and coordinate all credit activities of the Bank
Lead and chair the Credit Committee and the Problem Loan Committee (if applicable)
Supervise Credit Analysis and Credit Administration teams
Prepare and analyze credit line proposals, including assessment of financial statements
Monitor and review client credit limits
Ensure proper management and filing of credit documentation
Act as the point of contact for all credit-related issues, including interactions with auditors
Ensure credit policies and guidelines are continuously updated and properly followed
Monitor the loan portfolio to ensure credit risk objectives are met
Manage the internal credit rating system and ensure timely updates of client ratings

Monitor external credit rating agencies and align internal ratings accordingly
Manage problem loans in line with ISP guidelines and local regulations
Ensure quality of credit granted and proper use of approved credit lines
Ensure compliance with credit policies set by ISP and local regulatory authorities
Monitor credit portfolio growth and propose risk mitigation measures
Set and review credit concentration limits and individual exposures monthly
Promote a strong credit culture and ensure continuous training and updates for the Credit Department
Update loss evaluation criteria and recommend provisions and write-downs when necessary
Evaluate waivers and amendments related to credit agreements in coordination with ISP Central Credit Dept.
Perform other credit-related tasks as requested by Top Management
Required Experience
Experience of 5 to 10 years in the credit department at senior level and more than 3 years in a team leadership position.

Microsoft Office
Oral and written communication for professional interaction with internal departments and external counterparties

Loan documentation for secured loans

Required Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge
Language Skills:
Fluent Portuguese
Fluent English
Italian is desirable
Specific Knowledge:
Knowledge of the financial market
Knowledge of internal policies and procedures in the banking sector
Knowledge of BACEN regulations
Knowledge of the Brazilian Bankruptcy Code
Qualifications:
Completed undergraduate degree
Master's degree is desirable
