We're a leading recruitment company based in Sri Lanka, looking for a Junior/Assistant Brand Manager for a leading MNC/FMCG company based in Colombo. As a Junior/Assistant Brand Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the execution of brand strategies and marketing initiatives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams (sales, trade marketing, insights, and supply chain) to ensure successful delivery of campaigns and projects that strengthen brand equity and drive market share.
Key Responsibilities
Support the development and execution of brand plans, campaigns, and product launches.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
Monitor brand performance, analyze sales data, and track KPIs.
Collaborate with agencies on creative development, packaging design, and media planning.
Assist in managing budgets and tracking marketing spend.
Work with trade marketing and sales teams to ensure effective in-store execution and promotions.
Provide administrative and project management support for day-to-day brand operations.
Key Requirements:
Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
2–4 years of marketing or FMCG experience preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive.
Passionate about brands and consumer behavior.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); knowledge of Nielsen/IRI data is a plus.
