Senior Engineer - AWS

Role & responsibilities

Education (min) - Any Bachelors Degree.

Certifications - AWS Certified Engineer - Professional.

Systems Engineer 5+ years of Experience with AWS cloud services including Lambda, AWS WAF, DynamoDB, Cloud formation, ECS, EKS, Transit GW, Direct Connect and migration services.

Minimum 3 years of Hands-on experience in DevOps and experience implementing CI/CD in projects.

Experience with distributed Source Code Management (SCM) tools, e.g. Git/Bitbucket

Experience with software build and deploy tools such as Jenkins, Maven, Artifactory, CodeDeploy, etc.

Experience with container orchestration utilizing ECS, EKS, Kubernetes, or Docker Swarm

Experience with automation / operational provisioning tools, e.g. Ansible, Puppet or Chef

Experience in deployments in Docker/Kubernetes

Knowledge in enterprise licensed/open source system monitoring tools.

Knowledge in one or more of the following Databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, RDS

Functional knowledge on Jira, Confluence

Knowledge in scripting (bash, python, PowerShell).
