Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your technical expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside skilled, collaborative, and safety-focused teammates.
You'll play a vital role in upgrading and modernizing railway vehicles to enhance safety, reliability, and passenger experience. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business, including engineers, project managers, and quality control specialists, to execute technical modifications and ensure compliance with safety standards.
You’ll specifically take care of removing outdated components and installing new systems—such as passenger information systems, CCTV, and braking systems—but also ensure that all work is completed to the highest quality and safety standards.
We’ll look to you for:
Performing mechanical, electrical, and electronic modifications on rolling stock according to approved engineering drawings and specifications.
Safely removing old components and installing new systems, including wiring harnesses, sensors, and actuators.
Conducting functional testing of newly installed systems and diagnosing faults.
Collaborating with engineers to troubleshoot issues and provide feedback on installation feasibility.
Accurately completing all necessary documentation, including job cards and test sheets.
Adhering to strict safety procedures and participating in risk assessments and toolbox talks.

Qualified technician with a technical high school diploma or certification in the railway work sector.
Minimum of 3 – 5 years of experience in on-site works, preferably in rolling stock or rail automation projects.
Understanding of railway products installation methods and EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) practices.
Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems, including wiring, crimping, and soldering to industry standards.
Knowledge of APM train systems, automation technologies, and functional safety standards (e.g., EN 50153, ISO 26262).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex, technology-driven projects.
Team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills and a focus on quality and safety.
