Join a leading healthcare team as an Infectious Disease Physician in Pennsylvania. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact by providing specialized care and expertise in infectious diseases.
Located at UPMC Mercy and UPMC Shadyside (two tertiary care facilities) in the hospital line
4 seasoned Attendings expanding to add a fifth
100% clinical/ 98% inpatient including Burn, Trauma, ICU, Heme-Onc, No Pediatrics, Transplant or Obstetrics coverage responsibility.
Internal Medicine Residents on our teaching service at both hospitals with active Surgical Residency programs in place at both sites
Opportunities in Antimicrobial Stewardship
Projected call is 13 weekends per year

Qualifications:
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
Board Certification in Infectious Disease.
Current Pennsylvania medical licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure.
Proven experience in an infectious disease setting preferred.
