Blow Mold Operator

Job Description

Ambassador Personnel is seeking a detail-oriented and mechanically inclined individual to join our team as an Assembly & Blow Molding Operator. This role is responsible for producing quality components by assembling parts and subassemblies, operating plastic blow molding machines, and ensuring that all production processes meet established standards for safety, quality, and efficiency.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Operate plastic blow molding machines to produce components to specification.

Assemble parts and subassemblies using templates, tools, and measurement readings.

Visually inspect finished parts for defects and measure using calipers, micrometers, or other gauges.

Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment; troubleshoot malfunctions and notify maintenance as needed.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to all safety procedures, rules, and regulations.

Monitor inventory levels of parts and supplies; place and expedite orders as necessary to ensure uninterrupted production.

Use materials and equipment responsibly to reduce waste and support sustainability efforts.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in blow molding.

Ability to read and interpret calipers, gauges, and production instrumentation.

Prior manufacturing or production experience is required.

Strong attention to detail and quality standards.

Effective troubleshooting and mechanical skills.

Commitment to safety management and continuous improvement.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with production reporting systems or basic computer input.

Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles is a plus.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
